The Federal Republic of Hellas is a collective of city-states which is the successor state of Greece. The former state of Greece ceased to exist some time shortly after the start of the Second Eurowar in 2033, and the Alliance for Allah's invasion was repulsed in 2036 with the backing of various megacorps, especially those with interest in the large number of magically active historical religious sites in the former nation's borders. It is home to a large number of satyrois, minotaurous, and cyclopas metahumans, as well as a number of centauros and hydras; in addition, the country is considered to be HMVV-friendly, although the specifics may vary from city-state to city-state.
The various nation-states have a high degree of autonomy, while pan-national issues are handled at the Hellenic Federal Council. One of the projects they did was to upgrade the inter–city-state rail, and boasts one of the best rail networks on the continent. The other major issue the Council deals with is defense, considering that its primary northern neighbour, consisting of former Macedonia, is a de facto no-man's land after it was devastated after the war, a state which Hellas has been keen on keeping as a part of the longstanding grudge against the Macedonians and as buffer to funnel invaders through instead of though Hellas territory.
