The Runners were contacted by Green Knight in an emergency. The runners were offered verified partner status by MCT as a follow up to Demon Dalliance and given some new gear.
MCT apparently created a hybrid technomancer/tank and it got unleashed into Auburn. MCT, not wanting to reveal an experiment got out, ask the runners to preserve a cover story that a terrorist planted VITAS aerosols around Seattle and were going to release an enhanced strain of VITAS into the city. The other option was that MCT were going to simply make their cover story true.
