Date and time of the incident being reported: April 25, 2077, 1841h
Asset: #AHY-993J-10277 Chinook II-family experimental aircraft, destroyed, partially salvaged
Asset: #AHY-993J-10277-DR110-992023 Chinook II-family flight recorder, missing, presumed stolen

Findings from the debris analysis
As the fuselage and cockpit of the aircraft were crushed upon impact with the ocean, we were not able to determine the conditions inside the aircraft during the incident.
Inspection of the fuselage and wings showed heavy gunfire concentrated around the engine and control surfaces on the portside wing. Preliminary analysis indicates the projectiles used were 25mm caliber. This combined with analysis of the likely impact velocity of the rounds suggests they were fired from a Type 108 25mm AT/AA Gun or a similar firing platform in the same family.
Findings from the crash site
The plane impacted the ocean at (coordinates given). A salvage team from Hyperborean was dispatched at 1900h when the impact point of the aircraft was determined.
The salvage team recovered the majority of the aircraft and its components with the exception of the flight recorder, which was not found in the debris or on the seabed below the impact point.
Unidentified magical residue was present, originating approximately two thousand feet above sea level, from an unknown source.
The pilot, Lucy Ilirieth, is to be designated Missing In Action until such time as her condition and whereabouts can be determined.
Other notes
We are investigating a possible connection with a cyber-attack made on our systems at 1235h on the day of the incident. A preliminary report is available by contacting Bo Aujaq in the Information Systems and Security department.
