Bull has contacted Malta to clean up their assassination of Corinne Potter. Snohomish Mayor Doug Jensen (a known Humanis sympathizer and Conservative councilor for the last eight years) is using the fact that Potter got assassinated to use the emergency provision that might need a referendum can be pushed though by getting only the district mayors to agree. He wants to award the police a contract to clean out the Ork Underground, which Bull wants to avoid because this would cause a turf war dragging on for years.

List of mayors:

  • Auburn: Tyrone Monzo (Republican. Newly elected, previously councilor. )
  • Bellevue: Jonathan Blake (Republican. Re-elected for their 2nd term.)
  • Downtown: Sylvia Lanikova (Technocratic, first time in voted office; previously working in administration under Taul.)
  • Everett: Matthrew Hilcox (Democratic. Re-elected for their 3rd term.)
  • Fort Lewis: Col. Amal Brown-Lee (Independent, appointed by UCAS military in 2078)
  • Ork Underground: Jesse Powell (Independent. Newly elected due to new district)
  • Puyallup: Lon Campa (Independent. Re-elected for their 4th term. )
  • Redmond: Sonya Scholl (Independent. Re-elected for their 6th term. )
  • Renton: Jeremy Lucas (Technocratic. Newly elected, previously councilor. )
  • Snohomish: Doug Jensen (Archconservative, public Humanis supporter. Newly elected, previously councilor. )
  • Tacoma: William Duffy (Republican. Re-elected for their 2nd term.)

Doyle was contacted and he very quickly gave a report on how he thinks the mayors would vote:

  • For: Auburn, Bellevue, Renton, Snohomish, Tacoma
  • ?: Downtown, Everett
  • Against: Fort Lewis, Ork Underground, Puyallup, Redmond

In addition, there is a lot of information about Doug and Lanikova (mostly history) but also includes stuff like residence and places they tend to hang out when not at work. Notably, the file does not state that Lanikova has any children.

It looks like Downtown and Renton might be being leaned on by outside players.

On Lanikova's personal commlink there was a note from an anonymous sender which said that if she tells anyone about this message or doesn't vote the way they want upcoming vote she and her son will get assassinated "just like Potter". Io was unable to locate a mark on the file.
