Cat's name for herself

Who the hell is this doctor, what is his connection to the site and the cat

"He was my Vet. He enhanced me, taught me, and rescued me. He said we were going to hide. But a few months ago said we needed to go to Azatlan. Will you bring us there?"

He had something to do with breaking the Cat out?

"He bought our freedom from the Great Invae during the consumption. I do not know how."

What's their current goal?

"We were supposed to go to Azatalan, I don't know why we can't"

Affiliation and attitude towards the Bugs, and also towards Ares

"The Bugs? Who are they? The strange spirits? I know almost nothing of spirits, I ... cannot awaken apparently. Ares is trying to kill us apparently. Maybe just the Vet? I don't know."
