Johnny's Latest Party A Real Blast

Johnny Spinrad's party Sunday night was disrupted by the destruction of the Posiedon's Tear by terrorists. Little is known of the events of May 19th's explosion however Lusiada Security spokeperson Alanna Costa has stated that it is only a matter of time before the terrorist action has been dealt with. She went on to defend the use of GeMiTo as a party destination, claiming that Spinrad has been funding the restoration of the sprawl, and that they do not believe that the SINless were responsible. However, they will be managing the cleanup of local gangs in order to prevent further disaster.

Johnny was contacted via Matrix from an undisclosed location that seems to be somewhere in Western Egypt. He says he is in good spirits, though shaken by the loss of life. "The terrorists will be handled. I am personally pledging a four million nuyen bounty on any information that can lead to the arrest of these pissants, I don't give a frag who they are", Spinrad stated before being cutoff by one of his handlers. He shed no light on the progress of the capture.

Lusiada Security does say they have several leads, and are honouring the bounty mentioned by Spinrad. They claim that a person was seen engaging in illicit decking on the night in question, and was on the verge of being captured and intercepted by the Grid Overwatch Division, the assumption is that the explosion was caused by them panicking due to the efficiency of Spinrad forces making it hard for them to list their demands. Spinrad Global's official position is that it was likely radical neoanarchist or technomancer terrorists upset by their recent ascent. For Immediate Release

Spinrad Global has successfully leased JRJ International and will be joining the corporate court as of May 20th 2080. The party Sunday night was supposed to announce this, and the terrorists attempting to disrupt the party will be taken to justice. As part of their ongoing project to make a better society, Johnny has announced the Spinrad Improvement Project, a massive campaign of hiring, acquistions, and charity projects. Spinrad Global will now be issuing SINs to three hundred thousand of the SINless. Anyone may join the organization using one of the three aptitude tests:

The Lottery: Spinrad strongly believes in the power of luck. Therefore anyone may enter a draw, simply submit a DNA sample to Spinrad, alongside a contact method, and one hundred thousand samples will be drawn. One entry per DNA profile.

Aptitude Testing: Anyone may take the Spinrad Standard Aptitude Test on the Spinrad Improvement Project host, the top one hundred thousand entrants by January 1st 2081 will be granted a full Corporate SIN.

Magical Aptitude: The first one hundred thousand SINless demonstrating magical or technomantic capability at a Spinrad education centre will be granted a full Corporate SIN. Any additional people may recieve limited SINs as part of a work-to-employment program.

Alongside that, Spinrad has offered a four billion nuyen grant for the improvment of GeMiTo as part of the project, including a new Spinrad campus inside the Sprawl, which will be doing outreach and employment projects for the improvement of the region.
