Order of the Argent Scale

From Jackpoint

The Order of the Argent Scale is a militant offshoot of the Children of the Dragon (not to be confused with the Children of the Dragon Reborn, the splinter sect who believe Ghostwalker is the current reincarnation of the Great Dragon) which was first formed in the mid-to-late 2060s, with earliest records dating to no later than 2069. The schism began peacefully and was headed by a shaman known as Satya who claimed that a free spirit told her the Great Dragon is in some deep metaplane locked in an unending war against demons drawn to the Sixth World by metahumanity's use of magic. Satya preached that the Awakened should be taught restraint and train to help in this war. The Order had been fairly low-key in its operations during this period.

The Order wasn't declared as militant until 2073, when a string of Awakened kidnappings were attributed to the group. This continued on for a few years before their headquarters in Amherst was raided in 2077 and the group has been dormant since then. No Awakened kidnapped by the group have ever been recovered. Experts believe Satya passed away sometime in the early 2070s and the change in MO was after the result of an internal power struggle. Today, organizations worldwide consider this group defunct and thus not a threat.

Notes from Shasta Shamans/The Clutch

From what we can tell, during the 2077 raid a number of individuals were released as prisoners. Among them was a Sylvia Dragonheart, who claimed she was forcibly married by her parents to cardinal Yosef Dragonheart as his fourth wife when she was 15. Yosef was among those reported deceased after the raid, and it appears Sylvia used an identity management firm to relocate to Seattle. We would be interested in questioning her in case her story pans out; there is reason to believe the group is still active today.
