SUBJECT: Fall-out from Labour Dispute

For the attention of all management personnel:

As many of you are aware, an unnamed competitor has recently caused a disturbance among lower-level employees of Saeder-Krupp Aerospace with an extravagant and unbelievable offer to purchase and reorganize the division and relocate employees to offsite facilities. We are continuing to investigate the source of this rumour and take appropriate action to prevent further impact to morale and loyalty. Regrettably, the presence of this news has already caused conflict between some of these employees and lower management, resulting in a disappointing round of unplanned contract negotiations.

More recently, we have received the startling report from Labour Oversight that as of yesterday morning, some key employees have been removed from SK Aerospace facilities by headhunters from another corporation. We are under the impression that the lack of resolution to the negotiations, combined with the promises made by this rumour, caused one or more individuals to contact a third party and arrange for an unauthorized relocation. Some of the individuals reported missing without authorization include Cooper J, Taylor M, Klaarg W, Irileth L, Schaeffer-Edwards Y, and Denisovich E. We are investigating whether any tampering of our records occurred which might prevent us from identifying further missing personnel.

We cannot afford another incident or any further escalation of this dispute. Although we cannot take action against the rival corporation at this time, we must do everything in our power to limit further losses of either personnel, capital, or time. Effort expended in mitigating this dispute on the parts of both management and labour is better spent strengthening our own position and continuing to innovate in the face of the recent developments by our competitors.
