Yamato Restaurants

From Jackpoint

Yamato Restaurants is one of the three major food services subsidiaries of Shiawase, specializing in the working class market. In Japan they are known for their successful affordable restaurant chains, although that offering is not quite as competitive in the international market. Internationally, Yamato Restaurants is better known for its pre-made soy meals sold at places like Stuffer Shack, although it also produces a lot of foodstuffs which supplies restaurants not directly run under the aegis of the company. In Seattle, there are a few Yoshinoya and Ajisen Ramen stores near the Japanese AAA sphere which are basically run by Yamato Restaurants.

Yamoto has been buying up smaller restaurants in Seattle and has been doing a fairly major push into the area.
