Hyperborean Aerospace Data Retrieval

This job was given to us by a Miss Thompson who claims to be interested in retrieving testing data from a black box flight recorder from a Hyperborean Aerospace test jet. However, there is some inkling that Miss Thompson is far more interested in data on Lucy, the elf pilot of that plane.

Key Items

• Miss Thompson has given the team a file which authenticates the black box to be retrieved. Extracted from the file headers include the callsign of the experimental craft.
• We know that a certain Mr. Steiner has been sending out runs against the aerospace companies in the region. One of his lackeys was roughed up into spilling some beans, and revealed that it may have been a wetwork job, Mr. Steiner works for H&K and that our mark is in Kobe industries.
• Johnson called Ms. Thompson, was dating Lucy, an elf test pilot for Hyperborian Aerospace (a subsidiary of Ares).
• A plane she was flying disappeared 2 weeks ago in the Pacific Ocean - foul play suspected.
• Around disappeared location is a Mana Barrier large enough to contain a large technical facility.
• We have the flight plan, call sign, and a program to identify the plane.
• Mr. Steiner, working for Hilbert & Kraus Defense, a small time joint, is involved.
• Mr. Steiner has been putting out a large number of shadow runs, mostly against aerospace things.
• Angle against a company called Kobei.
• Lucy has an obit; Steiner's lacky (Mr. Smith) suggested that this was wetwork.
• Coast Guard might have a map to the sea base .

Mon, May 2nd, 2230 hrs: Meet concludes. Jynx gleams information from header protocol; Revàn sends out water spirit to scout ocean floor. Matrix searches begin.

Tue, May 3rd, 0400 hrs: Spirit returns, reports on underwater barrier. 'Meetup' with Mr. Smith made.

Tue, May 3rd, 1500 hrs: Revàn drops by Seattle Port Authority

Tue, May 3rd, 2200 hrs: Revàn returns, starts prep for astral scouting in the middle of Pacific.

Wed, May 4th, 0100 hrs: Revàn finishes astral scouting.

Wed, May 4th, 1500 hrs: Bruce, Marshall, and Revàn meet up with Mr. Smith.

Wed, May 4th, 2000 hrs: Marshall discovers his mother is sick.

Thu, May 5th, 0700 hrs: Jynx and Malta finish Matrix searches on H&K and Kobei

Thu, May 5th, 2000 hrs: Greysky gets brought in to help scout the North Pacific Facility.

Thu, May 5th, 2130 hrs: Greysky has received parts and finished modifying drone.

Thu, May 5th, 2200 hrs: We head up to Everett, and have a scuffle with the Trawlers.
