Rules:Street Cred/Scaling

Street cred will come from two sources, total karma accrued and contact points (the sum of all loyalty and connection ratings of contacts the character has), according to the following tables:

That is, every step of street cred requires 20 more karma than the last; street cred from contacts is the sum of all loyalty and connection points divided by 10 (round down). As of the time of this writing, that puts Malta to 7 + 7 = 14 Street Cred, from 630 karma and 75 contact points.

In addition to taming our street cred this has the advantage of driving Street Cred off a combination of reputation and networking, and of making Contact advancement more valuable.
